Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. When Grandma was a young girl, she crept downstairs to get proof if Santa Claus was real. Faded and bent, her photo from that magical Christmas Eve remains her most cherished possession, to this day and every year she shows to the children who would doubt.
About Shawn Conn
Over my years as a career artist, my artist statement changes on an almost minute by minute basis. Like most human beings my emotional state at any one given time affects my decisions and actions, and creating art is no different.
